They were having an awards ceremony for students that had 100 or more AR (accelerated reader) points.
Of course one of my maniac readers would get an award like this.

72 students got awards! Riley had a little over 106 points. The top person had 605 points...JEEPERS! I challanged Riley to be the top person next year...hmmm...we'lll see.
On another note. He also brought home his TAKS (Texas Assesment of Knowledge and Skills) test scores today. He got "Commended" on all three tests, reading, writing and math! Translation --- very high marks!
So Proud!!!
Ummm....did I mention that Dylan got "Lamar Leader" this final six weeks at his school? They only award 2 students from each grade level each six weeks this award. And he was one of the ones that got it the final six weeks of school for the 7th grade. The award has to do with good citizenship and grades.

I love these boys so much! I must say - they make their dad and I very, very, very proud to be their parents.
Gotta Run - treating them to a yummy dinner out!

Justified and worthy of good parents.Our kids are reflections of us,so be proud of 'em they'll love you for it . And so will your friends. Grandparents are proud of their kids and when thay have grandkids like this ,,they get to have another dose of being PROUD!!!
